Q – It’s the eve of your first FFA Cup game this weekend against Canning City, the boys have been hard at work for 4 months during Pre-season, How have you found life at Wanneroo City SC so far and what has stood out for you to date?

A –  Yeah it’s been a long pre season and really happy with the progress that we have made over the summer. Life so far at The Roos has been great. The committee headed up by Dean Bell have been very supportive and we are all looking forward to the coming weekend. I guess what has struck me most since moving to Wanneroo is the amount of work that is done by so few. It’s a real credit to Dean and his team in the way the Club is presented.
Q – As the Men’s State League Head Coach what sort of football can we expect from your side this season?

A – We have put together what I think is a very talented hard working squad and hopefully you will see an attacking, entertaining brand of football.
Q – What can we expect from Wanneroo City SC in the FFA Cup and League season in 2017?

A –  The FFA Cup is a great competition and one which I have very fond memories. Last year as assistant 1st team coach at Floreat we won the Coolridge Cup and made the last 32 of the FFA Cup playing A-League giants Melbourne City. Our 1st assignment is Div 1 club Canning City and this will be a great test for our young squad. There is no question that it will be a very tough encounter and I think if we come out and play to our best we will be very competitive. After all it’s a cup game and anything can happen!
