Q – It’s the eve of your first State League Reserves Cup game this weekend against Melville City U20s, the boys have been hard at work for 4 months during Pre-season, How have you found life at Wanneroo City SC so far and what has stood out for you to date?

A – This is my 3rd season at Wanneroo City my 2nd as Reserve Coach and life is fantastic here at WCSC. Its been a long pre-season but a fruitful one and my squad is starting to really take shape and we can see the beginnings of a great side. The key highlight so far is the camaraderie between the boys, its like we are all just one big family and it makes the tough parts of preseason a lot easier to handle when your doing sprints with your mate next to you every step of the way.
Q – As the Men’s State League Reserve Coach what sort of football can we expect from your side this season?

A – We are looking to play an attractive brand of football this year, with a lot of my boys looking to get 1st team football at some point, we have gone for a very attacking set up and I expect us to be scoring goals. Players such as John Mcneil (VCapt), Nathan Smith and Connor Lynch know where to find goal and with the experienced heads of Brandon Da Silva (Capt) and Daniel Gulliver I’m looking forward to the prospect of bringing attractive football back to Wanneroo City SC.
Q – What can we expect from Reserve Side in the Cup and League season in 2017?

A – Our sole aim is to be challenging for the Cup and League title this season and I 100% believe this squad can not only win the league but win the State League Reserve cup aswell.
